Final Project

Twins: This photo uses pattern and repetition by the way there are two of the same subject. It also uses lines, with the edges of the stone directing the viewers eyes towards both subject, and texture with the roughness of the stones against her smooth skin and hair.

Baby: This photo uses texture in Georgie's fur, breaking the rules because she's framed in the middle instead of avoiding it. As well as contrast with the textured deck against the soft fur and grass.

Setting the Mood: This photo uses colour with the warm shades in the background, also shape in the angle of her body and the box, and value with the range of light to dark.

Under the Sea: This photo uses texture with the roughness of the water and the smooth sky, colour with all he cool shades and different shades of blue, and lines with the waves and the mountains pointing to the opening in the middle of the photo.

Retro: This photo uses colour with the pink light reflecting and creating new colours, shape in the circular disc, and emphasis with the disc being in the middle and outlined by the light.

Angel: This photo uses lines with the lights hanging down towards Charlotte, contrast with her black shirt against the bright background, and emphasis with her being lightened up in the middle.

Tide: This photo uses movement and rhythm with the water rushing down, value with the range of light to dark throughout the image, and texture with the ripples in the water.

Paint the Sky: This photo uses colour in all the different hues shown, I took this photo when the northern lights happened and I was surprised to see that the colours showed up more on camera then it did in person, I also focused more in so i could get some stars in the image which I did.

Exposure: This photo I'm really proud of the outcome because I wanted to make this simple photo a little more interesting, which I think I achieved. I doubled the image and removed the background from the top layer, after that I turned the first photo black and white. Then, I flipped the second image and kept it coloured so it would stand out more.

Brandon Lake: This photo uses colour in the bright green background popping out against the dark silhouettes, space with there being so much empty space towards the top of the frame, and shape with all the silhouettes.

Top Gun: This photo uses value with the range of light to dark, space with their being so much empty space around the subject, and emphasis with the dark airplane going against the smooth whit clouds.

Glitch: This photo uses colour with the pink hue, movement and rhythm with the long exposure showing her moving, and space because she's framed in the middle ground of the photo.

Home: This photo uses colour with all the shades in the sunset, space with there being so much empty space with no clear subject, and contrast with the dark skyline and the bright colourful sky.

Honey: This photo uses texture with the textured flower and bee, emphasis with the flower being in focus in the middle of the photo, and contrast with the rough subject against the smooth background.

Locked in: This photo uses shape in the fence and the way it frames the subject, value with the range of light to dark, and emphasis with the the framed subject being the focal point of the image.
